Just now we were in the teachers' magazine online edition (October 25, 2012) read a story about how much the Swedish municipalities spend on adult education, and day after day we hear alarming reports saying that the queues of renegade youths from high school and adults with inadequate education only increases.
In the report from the Teachers' Journal, one can see that the prosperous municipalities with good economy invests more in adult education, and research a little more on the subject, one can see that these offers training to more than the priority target groups, while the situation is the opposite in the municipalities that are struggling with emigration and thus have a lower tax base.
Right now face Sweden also large by notice in many different places where many of the employees have worked for many years and therefore may have little formal education and the need to adapt their training.
I therefore wonder whether the Government have any plans to change the focus of adult education and to contribute more funds to adult education in the form of targeted government grant, possible to search for the places where the education level is low and unemployment is high.
